Choose a book to borrow or buy from the wide selection of books available in the church:

New this month – a biography of Queen Anne by David Green – thoroughly researched but quite heavy going.

Ditto for the novel “News from Nowhere” by William Morris – now known for his designs – his view of an ideal society where all work should be creative and pleasurable.

Also available, “Fatality in Fleet Street”, another of the Sprigg novels about crime reporter Charles Venables – well plotted and with plenty of clues as befits a 1930’s crime novel.
