POP UP SHOP – SCOTT & SCOTT

Hello All

Our next pop-up shop will be held on 7th June, at Home Farm, Ayston from 11am to 2pm.  As always, open other times by appointment.  We also have a lovely litter of Black Fell Terrier Puppies (Izzy’s Family to those that know her)  and if the weather is kind will be on the lawn for you to look at.

This month we will be selling fresh beef.  It is a Limousin x heifer that was born here on the farm at Ayston, reared with care and attention to detail,  by the Family  We are a High Herd Health and Welfare Herd,  Our Cattle and Sheep are pasture fed,  Dry aged for 28 days to ensure tenderness and quality of the meat.

If you would like to order a specific joint cut to your requirements, please let me know before Wednesday 28th May and I will ask our Artisan Butcher to cut accordingly.  I am happy to help with the size of joint required to feed your family and friends.

We will have available to order, or just come and browse on the day, the following cuts.  Fillet, Sirloin, Picanha, Rump Steaks, Minute Steaks (Frying Steak)  Also, Bavette, Flat Iron and Denver Steaks.  There will be fillets of beef, Rib, Cote de Boef, Sirloin, Topside. Brisket Joints both rolled and flat for smoking or just a lovely, tasty pot roast or pulled beef?  how about some tender stir fry,? Of Course, we will have the everyday staples of Mince, Diced Stewing Steak, Braising Steak, Shin Beef on and off the bone. Also, short ribs (Love them or loath them?)  They are a bit like marmite!

If you can think of another cut you would like, please do let me know and I will investigate.

Ideas for the BBQ!

We will also have available Frozen Beef Burgers, Lamb and Mint Burgers, Venison Burgers ( No Gluten, BUT produced in a kitchen that has Gluten in it!), and Pork and Apple Burgers.  We have Racks of Lamb, lovely from the BBQ or oven, and so quick to cook and impressive to serve, although I always recommend resting before serving.  Home-Produced Lamb and Venison cuts from the freezer.

I also hope to have some Launde Farm Bacon which is also very popular, it can be ordered or take pot luck on the day.

I am always available to help with recipes and cooking tips, be it on the day or at any other time.

Any questions give me a ring or email and I will get back to you.

Kind Regards
Sue Scott
