BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!

What would you do with the power of life and death? Too difficult to contemplate?  Power, morality and consequences combine in Jenny Morris’ novel “The Ethical Guide to Murder” – couldn’t put it down!

For something completely different, “The True History of the Black Adder” by JF Roberts recalling the making of the TV series and the contributions made by the writers and actors involved – made me smile.

Made into a film last year, the 2016 Man Booker shortlisted novel “Hot Milk” by Deborah Levy is a “marmite” book – I was soon deep into the story and wanted to find out if Rose ever got her life back on track: you’ll have to read it to find out.
