BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!
Starting this month with a romantic comedy “Me and Mr Darcy” by Alexandra Potter. A must for all Jane Austen fans and fun to read.
A further instalment of naval life, “Lieutenant Hornblower”, but, on this occasion, the story told by Bush rather than Hornblower himself which proves to be a useful tool in filling out Hornblower’s character.
More also from two established crime writers – Rebecca Tope’s “A Death to Record”, a West Country mystery where my home town gets a number of mentions and M.C. Beaton with R.W. Green’s “Hot to Trot”, another cosy Agatha Raisin novel.
