BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!
An excellent prize winning novel set in WW2 – compelling storytelling, good characterisation of the main characters of Marie-Laure and Werner, a true page turner – “All The Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr. I heartily recommend this book.
Two police procedurals as well this month – Simon McCleave’s “The Snowdonia Killings” – enjoyed this one but disappointed by Ruth Rendell’s “Not In The Flesh” as, in my opinion, not as well written as many of her earlier novels.
