April 12 – after the success of our first ‘Souper Saturday’ we’ll do it again!
Please join us at the village hall between 12 noon and 1:30pm for a choice of three delicious soups, bread, savoury scones and fresh fruit.
All donations to be shared between the church and Save the Children.
Just a gentle and respectful reminder to a minority to please pick up after your dog in the playing field. It’s just that we’ve noticed an increase lately in dog poop being left behind.

The Trustees welcome anyone who would like to join us in maintaining the Hall for the benefit of all Parishioners. Please contact me if you are interested. You will see in the accounts that we have an operating deficit for 2024, but are fortunate that this was covered by interest from our deposit account which, although very healthy, will be needed in the hopefully very distant future to repair or replace the Collyweston slate front roof.
In 2025 we will be holding 3 coffee mornings, a Curry Night in October and a Christmas social night. If all these are well attended we would hope that we will not be in deficit again this financial year. And if anyone is able to organise an additional fundraising event for the Village Hall, please let a Trustee know, you will have our full support.

The charity Rural Community Council is running a project called Changing Connections. It aims to help people with their mental & physical health in Rutland by connecting them with local groups, services and people who can help in our local area.
The Coffee Connect van offers free coffee, conversation and advice and will be outside Ridlington Village hall on the Wednesdays of the 2nd, 9th & 16th of April between 12.30 pm and 2.00 pm.
Come along an enjoy a delicious coffee and have a chat.
