The yearly mow of the churchyard is nearly upon us! Meet at 11:00 on Saturday 5th September at the churchyard – please bring your own strimmers and rakes. If you think you’ll be able to help strim, rake or bag please let Debra know. As has become our custom there will be a ploughman’s lunch at 3 Main Street after the mow;

Support Fair Trade Fortnight (21st September to 4th October). Considering people, the planet and pay the theme is “Do it Fair” supporting fairer pay, sustainable practices and climate justice. When shopping look out for the Fair Trade logo as on our tea and coffee in church – more information available from the Fair Trade Foundation; and

To mark the astronomical start of autumn join us on a short walk at Prior’s Coppice on Wednesday 23rd September at 4:00pm. Please let Debra know if you intend to come so we can organise a car share. Light refreshments available afterwards.
