FOOD BANK – NOVEMBER COLLECTION DATE – NOVEMBER 12TH
Good morning,
Firstly I have to say a massive thank you for all our Harvest donations. They are still arriving in our warehouse and I’m pleased to say our shelves are re-filling. We are so grateful for every tin, packet and collection/fundraiser that we have received at a time when our referrals are increasing, thank you again.
I realise that we still have a couple of months to go before we celebrate Christmas but I know you understand that we would like Christmas donations to reach us by late November/early December so we have time to distribute them.
I’m pleased to attach this year’s Reverse Advent Calendar. It includes suggestions for what you might donate in the next few weeks. Please note we are not expecting anyone to donate the full calendar, rather that you team up with your family & friends or a local group to collect between you.
During December we’ll be adding seasonal foods and treats to the our emergency food parcels to bring a little joy to our clients.
Thank you for your ongoing support, together we create a strong and supportive community helping those in food poverty.
