FOOD BANK COLLECTION – REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR
Please continue to support this very worthwhile local charity. We are told that activity levels are higher with even greater demand anticipated in the autumn – if every household donated one item a month the boxes in the church porch would be full by each of the collection days – the next one is on 11th November.
A list of requested items is displayed on the church notice board. As in previous years the Food Bank has issued its “wish list” in the run up to the Christmas period in the form of a Reverse Advent Calendar. Please click on the the link below for more information.
Collections from the church porch will be made on 11th and 25th November and 9th and 23rd December . Please ensure that Christmas items are donated in the first three of these collections to ensure they can be distributed before Christmas.
