BAINES’ BAKE-OFF CHALLENGE

This turned out to be a successful event and a Big Thank you go to Karen and Richard Baines for organising it. There were 8 entries to the competition and £57.00 was raised towards the Church fund.

Judging took place on Sunday, July 4th and the winners were as follows:

1st prize: Bella Fox

2nd prize: Steve Fox

3rd prize: Jan Powley

There was such great interest in testing our baking skills across all age and gender groups that another challenge was requested.

A “Christmas Chocolate Yule Log” perhaps??  Who knows! Stay tuned for details of the next event when all will be revealed.
